Re:defining, Library Services in a Digital Age

Tuesday May 8th: The 8th Annual TRY (Toronto Ryerson York) Library Staff Conference – Re:defining, Library Services in a Digital Age
St. Michael’s College, University of Toronto

Visit the conference website at http://www.library.utoronto.ca/event/staffconference/ to register. We look forward to a day of outstanding sessions FREE to all staff appointed members at U of T, Ryerson, and York.

Since the first library staff conference was held in 2005, libraries have had to work at a frenetic pace to keep up with and support new technologies. Social networking, more digitized collections, catalog enhancements and live online support allow us to give users what they need at the click of a button. Mobile devices demand that resources be delivered in a variety of formats. And some changes have added layers of complexity to the research process, challenging us to develop new ways of helping others navigate a confusing information landscape.

This one-day conference provides an opportunity for all members of the University of Toronto, York and Ryerson University library communities to gather together for a day of learning and socializing with colleagues.

Space is limited so register early to avoid disappointment!
